In a release issued here today Deputy Commissioner,
Amritsar-cum-Manager, and Amritsar Aviation Club Kahan Singh Pannu,
stated that the Amritsar Civil Aviation Club has achieved new heights
and is one of the most prestigious Civil Aviation Club of the Northern
India. The Aircraft will reach the Club at Amritsar on 15th Feb, 2011.
Pannu said that Rachpal Singh, Chief Flying Instructor of the Club along
with Pilot instructor Amit Dahiya and Vikram Toor shall leave for
ferrying from National Aerospace Laboratories Bangaluru.
He stated that club is already having two Hansa-3 Aircraft, one Cessna
172 Aircraft and in addition it is having one twin engine beach craft
baron Aircraft for training purposes.
Pannu intimated that a large number of students from Northern India have
been availing the facilities of Aircraft training at club. Even the
students from North-eastern States are availing the training facilities
at Amritsar Civil Aviation Club. He stated that the training is being
imparted by the Club at concessional rates as the club is running on
no-profit basis.
