Peter Harbison, Chairman, CAPA AeroPark stated, "Since we announced in
November 2010 that CAPA and SCDC had entered into a USD125 million JV to
establish CAPA AeroPark, the response from airlines and airports has
been overwhelming. There is quite clearly an urgent need for training to
support the 20 per cent market growth being achieved in India.”
CAPA AeroPark will service training needs for India, the Middle East and
Asia and is projected to handle more than 10,000 students per annum by
2015. Harbison added, "Aside from civil aviation requirements,
announcements at Aero India 2011 have clearly demonstrated huge
potential in the aerospace sector, in both research and manufacturing.
